Bajaj Auto has introduced the Chetak 35 series, an upgraded version of its Chetak electric scooter.
Designed for a more convenient and connected riding experience, the series includes two models: the Chetak 3502, priced at ₹1.20 lakh,
and the Chetak 3501, priced at ₹1.27 lakh (ex-showroom). These scooters aim to compete with rivals like Ola Electric and TVS iQube in the electric vehicle market.
Key Features of the Chetak 35 Series
The Chetak 35 series is built on a completely new platform, featuring a large 3.5 kWh underfloor battery pack.
This innovative placement enhances the scooter’s weight distribution and handling while providing 35 liters of under-seat storage, enough space to store essentials, including a helmet.
With a new battery management system, the scooter delivers improved performance and efficiency.
Bajaj claims a real-world range of 125 km per charge, though the official range is stated to be 153 km.
The 950-watt charger enables fast charging, reaching 80% battery capacity in just 3 hours and 25 minutes.
Enhanced Comfort and Smart Features
The Chetak 35 series is equipped with a long seat, ensuring comfort for both the rider and the pillion. It also includes a reverse mode to make parking easier.
For a smarter riding experience, the scooter features a color TFT display offering turn-by-turn navigation, call control, and music management.
Riders can connect their smartphones to control music and receive real-time notifications directly on the display.
With a top speed of 73 kmph and two riding modes—eco and sports—the Chetak 35 series caters to a variety of riding preferences.
This series builds on the foundation of the original Chetak Electric launched in 2019, incorporating continuous updates to meet rider needs.
