The Rizta is the newest and most impressive family electric scooter in Ather Energy’s lineup. While it already offers excellent features, the company continues to improve it.
Recently, Ather Energy released an Over-the-Air (OTA) update for the Rizta Z, adding new features, including dashboard support for eight regional languages.
Currently, the Rizta competes with popular models like Ola Electric, Bajaj Chetak EV, and TVS iQube in the market.
Language Support Update
The update introduces support for Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Initially, Hindi will be available, followed by the other seven languages. This multi-language support is part of the OTA update for AtherStack, enhancing the Rizta Z’s usability.
The Rizta Z, designed as a top-spec family scooter, is available in two battery variants: 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh. Its ex-showroom price starts at ₹1.27 lakh.
Key Features and Specifications
The Rizta comes with reverse mode for easy maneuvering and skid-resistant tires for better control.
It includes advanced features like live location sharing, an anti-theft system, and parking assist, which lets you locate the scooter using your phone.
Additionally, the fall safety feature automatically shuts off the motor if the scooter tips over.
It also integrates Google Maps, call and music controls, push navigation, and auto-reply SMS functionality.
Performance and Range
The Rizta offers two battery pack options:
2.9 kWh: 123 km range, 6.40 hours charging time
3.7 kWh: 160 km range, 4.30 hours charging time
All variants have a top speed of 80 km/h. The ex-showroom prices are ₹1,09,999, ₹1,24,999, and ₹1,44,999, depending on the variant.
