Aprilia updates Its 125cc Sports Bike Range

Before the end of 2024, Aprilia updated its popular 125cc sports bike range, including the RS125 and Tuono 125.

Both bikes now have new 2025 versions with engine updates and more attractive features. Aprilia has also introduced two new color options for each model: Kingsnake White

and Cyanide Yellow for the RS125, and Viper Yellow and Mamba Gray for the Tuono.

However, the prices for these bikes have not been announced yet. Let’s take a closer look at the updates.

Engine Updates and Features

Aprilia has made significant changes to the engines of both the RS125 and Tuono 125. The bikes now feature a 125cc liquid-cooled engine that meets Euro5+ emission norms.

This engine produces 15bhp of power at 10,500rpm and 12Nm of torque at 8,500rpm.

It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Additionally, an optional quick shifter is available for some models.

Both bikes share the same chassis, wheels, tires, and brakes as the previous models, and the same cluster display.

Standard features include a traction control system, ABS, and LED lights throughout the bike.

Not Available in India

The new RS125 will be available in Kingsnake White and Cyanide Yellow, while the Tuono will come in Viper Yellow and Mamba Gray.

These updated bikes will be sold in Europe early next year, but they will not be launched in India.

The reason for this is that Aprilia cannot keep the price competitive unless the bikes are fully manufactured in India.
