Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale starts October 8, 2026, with discounts across smartphones, electronics, fashion, beauty, home essentials and groceries.
Amazon has announced the sale date ahead of the festive shopping season, with several additional offers planned for customers.
The company has also announced bank and membership benefits. Customers using SBI credit or debit cards and eligible EMI transactions can get an instant 10% discount, while Prime members can receive an additional discount of up to 10%.
Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale Offers
Amazon says customers will find several types of deals during the sale, including Blockbuster Deals, Top 100 Deals, Mega Deals and 8PM Deals.
Additional savings will be available through offers such as Buy More Save More, Exchange Mela, Sample Mania and Amazon Combos.
Customers can also find No Cost EMI and exchange offers across selected categories. The availability and terms of individual offers may vary depending on the product and applicable conditions.

The Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale will begin on October 8, 2026. The announcement comes just one day before the Flipkart Big Billion Days 2026 sale, which is scheduled to start for all customers on October 9.
Amazon India VP Saurabh Srivastava said the festival sale will bring together customers, sellers and brands, with deals and new product launches across millions of products.
Amazon Expands Delivery Network
Ahead of the festive season, Amazon says it has created more than 160,000 seasonal jobs across its operations network covering 400 cities. The company has also announced the addition of 20 fulfilment centres, six sort centres and 150 last-mile delivery stations.
Amazon says its network now supports more than 2 million sellers, with over 300,000 new sellers joining during the previous year.
The expansion is aimed at supporting higher order volumes and faster deliveries during the festive shopping period.
Amazon Now Offers Faster Delivery
Amazon Now provides quick delivery of selected products in eligible locations. According to Amazon, the service is currently available to millions of customers across more than 60 cities and is planned to expand to 100 cities before Diwali.
The service includes products such as groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen foods, household essentials, personal care items, fashion and beauty products, small appliances, and home and kitchen products.
Customers can check whether Amazon Now is available in their area by opening the Amazon Shopping app and looking for the Now banner. Availability can vary by location and PIN code.
