Akasa Air has discontinued one of its two daily flights between Noida International Airport and Mumbai amid a decline in passenger numbers. The airline is now operating only one flight on this route.

The 2:10 pm Akasa Air flight continues to operate, while the 9:05 pm night flight has been discontinued. Passengers can still travel between Noida and Mumbai using other available flight options.

Akasa Air Cancels 9:05 PM Mumbai Flight

Earlier, Akasa Air operated two daily flights from Noida International Airport to Mumbai. The flights were scheduled at 2:10 pm and 9:05 pm.

The airline has now stopped the 9:05 pm service. As a result, only the afternoon Akasa Air flight is currently available for passengers booking travel between Noida and Mumbai.

Although the night flight has been discontinued, passengers still have another option on the route. IndiGo also operates a Mumbai flight from Noida International Airport, scheduled at 3 pm.

Noida Airport Still Has Mumbai Flight Options

At present, both IndiGo and Akasa Air are operating flights from Noida International Airport. However, Akasa Air’s services from the airport are currently limited to Mumbai.

Passengers planning to travel to Mumbai can therefore choose between the available Akasa Air afternoon service and the IndiGo flight.

The reduction in Akasa Air’s Mumbai services comes after passenger traffic at Noida International Airport declined. However, there has been no official confirmation from the airline’s administration specifically regarding the cancellation of the night flight.

Akasa Air Flights to Other Cities Also Discontinued

Only one Akasa Air Mumbai flight is currently visible on the airline’s website, indicating that bookings for the 9:05 pm service are no longer available.

It is also worth noting that Akasa Air has already discontinued flights from Noida International Airport to Navi Mumbai and Chandigarh.

The current changes mean passengers using Noida International Airport will have fewer Akasa Air options than before, particularly for Mumbai travel at night.
