Air India to launch Flights on 10 New Routes from May 1

Good news for travelers. Air India Express is expanding its domestic network just in time for the busy summer season.

Starting May 1, the airline will launch 10 new routes, improving direct connectivity between major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata with key state capitals and popular destinations.

Bookings for these routes are already open through the airline’s website, mobile app, and travel agents.

The airline is making travel easier by adding several direct connections.

New daily flights will run between Mumbai and cities like Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, and Patna.

This will help passengers save time by avoiding layovers.

Mumbai – Ahmedabad: Daily

Mumbai – Chandigarh: Daily

Mumbai – Dehradun: Daily

Mumbai – Patna: Daily

Ahmedabad – Chandigarh: 6 times a week

Ahmedabad – Dehradun: Daily

Bagdogra – Pune: 5 times a week

Bagdogra – Chennai: Resumed

Hyderabad – Ranchi: Resumed

Kochi – Delhi: Resumed

This move also improves connectivity to eastern and northeastern parts of India.

Along with new routes, the airline is increasing flight frequency on several existing routes.

174 weekly flights from Mumbai

393 flights from Delhi

108 flights from Bagdogra

96 flights from Pune

86 flights from Kolkata

62 flights from Kochi

Cities like Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, and Patna will also see more frequent flights, making travel more flexible.

Air India Express now operates over 500 daily flights, connecting 45 domestic and 17 international destinations across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Gulf.

The airline’s fleet includes more than 100 aircraft, such as Boeing 737 and Airbus A320.
