Air India Express student offer brings a 10% discount on domestic flight fares along with an increased baggage allowance for eligible students ahead of the festive season. The offer is available until October 20, 2026.
Under the offer, students booking domestic flights can get a flat 10% discount on the value fare. They will also be allowed to carry up to 25 kg of baggage instead of the standard 15 kg.
Air India Express Student Offer Benefits
The airline said the additional baggage allowance gives students another benefit while travelling home during the festive season. The extra 10 kg could help reduce the need to pay separately for additional baggage.
Students booking through the Air India Express website or mobile app can also change their travel date for ₹99. This option may be useful for students whose travel plans change after booking.
In addition, customers booking domestic or international flights directly through the airline’s website or mobile app can get another 5% discount by using the code ‘VIBES’.
Who Can Get the Student Offer?
Passengers must be at least 12 years old to use the student benefits. They must also have a valid student photo ID issued by a recognised educational institution.
The student ID should include the student’s name and date of birth. Eligible passengers will need to present the ID at the airport during check-in.
The Air India Express student offer is therefore subject to verification of the student’s eligibility and valid identification at the time of travel.
Visa Card Offer Gives Up to ₹600 Off
Air India Express has also announced a separate discount for customers using Visa debit or credit cards. Under this offer, customers can get up to ₹600 off on domestic and international flight bookings.
Passengers can use the code ‘VISAFLY’ to claim the Visa card discount. The offer is valid until October 9, 2026.
Air India Express Flight Network
According to the airline, Air India Express operates more than 500 flights every day. It connects 48 domestic and 16 international destinations.
The airline’s fleet includes more than 100 Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft. For eligible students, the Air India Express student offer provides savings on both domestic fares and baggage during the festive travel period.
