So far, numerous women have benefited from this program, receiving up to three free gas cylinders each.
Eligibility and Conditions
To qualify for the Ujjwala Yojana 2.0, certain criteria must be met. One crucial condition is that the household should not already possess a gas connection.
Additionally, only women from marginalized communities, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Extremely Backward Classes, Tribals, or those falling under the poverty line, are eligible to apply.
How to Apply for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana

To initiate the application process, women from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families need to provide essential documents, including:

Ration card
BPL card
Proof of name in BPL list
Passport-size photo
Bank account photocopy
Age certificate
Mobile number
Furthermore, applicants must ensure their bank account is linked with Aadhaar for seamless transactions.

Provide your mobile number and other necessary details to generate a reference number. Following this, you will receive a call to initiate the connection process.
