MP Govt Offers New Housing Opportunity under Ladli Behna Awas Yojana

In a bid to support eligible women in Madhya Pradesh, the state government has launched the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana.

Under this program, eligible women are currently receiving a monthly financial assistance of Rs 1250.

Moreover, gas cylinders are now available at a reduced cost of Rs 450. In addition to financial aid, housing will be provided to those who haven’t benefited from other housing schemes through the newly introduced Ladli Brahmin Housing Scheme.

Registration Now Open

The Ladli Behna Awas Yojana Registration is now open for eligible applicants.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan inaugurated the scheme and initiated the registration process by enrolling Mamta Chauhan and Deepak Bansal of Bhopal on the official portal.

Sharmila Bai and Sangeeta Solanki were also registered under the gas cylinder refilling scheme, which began on September 15.

Housing for All

Chief Minister Chouhan expressed the government’s commitment to providing housing for poor families and highlighted the Bhu-Awas Yojana, initiated for this purpose.

The government is actively settling the poor on lands previously controlled by illegal factions in various parts of Madhya Pradesh.

In urban areas where land is scarce, multi-story housing complexes will be constructed.

The Ladli Behna Awas Yojana aims to provide houses to families not covered under Pradhan Mantri Awas or Awas Plus schemes.

Who Can Benefit from the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana?

This new housing scheme is expected to benefit over 4.75 lakh eligible families who were previously excluded from various housing schemes.

The program is designed to provide permanent housing to underprivileged families from all sections of society.

Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development, Mahendra Singh Sisodia, emphasized that this initiative will provide deserving women and families living in inadequate housing with their own secure homes.

Required Documents

To avail of the scheme’s benefits, applicants need to provide essential documents such as the Samagra ID, Aadhaar Number, Bank Account details, MNREGA Job Card (if available), and Ladli Behna Scheme Registration Number (only for Ladli Sisters). Applicants must verify these documents themselves, and there is no need for external verification. All applications will be registered on the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural Portal. Following verification by the District Panchayat Officer, eligible families will receive housing allotments from the State Government. In case of any issues, applicants can lodge complaints with their local Panchayat.
