Bajaj Finance Hikes FD Interest Rates to 8.25%

Bajaj Finance FD Rates have been increased by 15 to 40 basis points across different tenures, giving depositors a chance to earn up to 8.25% annual interest under the revised structure.

The new rates are effective from October 7, 2026.

The rate revision came after the Reserve Bank of India raised the repo rate by 25 basis points to 5.50%.

Bajaj Finance has increased rates on fixed deposits with tenures ranging from 12 months to 60 months.

 Bajaj Finance FD Rates: What Investors Will Earn

For regular investors, the interest rate on 12 to 17-month deposits has increased to 6.80% from 6.60%.

For 18 to 30 months, the rate has moved up to 7% from 6.85%.

The biggest increase is for deposits with a tenure of 31 to 60 months.

Regular investors will now earn 7.75% annually, compared with 7.40% earlier. Senior citizens will get 8.15% for the same tenure.

Senior citizens will receive an additional 0.40% interest over the applicable regular rates.

Their rates are now 7.20% for 12 to 17 months and 7.40% for 18 to 30 months.

FD Renewal Can Give Higher Returns

Existing customers renewing a matured FD can get an additional 0.10% annual interest under the revised structure.

For a 31 to 60-month renewal, the rate can reach 7.85% for regular investors.

For senior citizens, the maximum renewal rate rises to 8.25% annually, making it the highest rate in the revised structure.

Bajaj Finance FD Rates apply to both fresh deposits and eligible renewals from October 7.

Monthly Interest Payout Option Available

Investors can choose how they receive their interest, with monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, annual and maturity payout options available.

For senior citizens with 31 to 60-month deposits, the monthly payout rate is 7.86% annually.

For eligible renewals, the monthly payout rate can rise to 7.96%.

The minimum investment amount for the FD is Rs 15,000.

Investors can book or renew deposits through the company’s digital channels, branches and partner channels.
