Buying a home in Delhi can be expensive, but the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has come up with an offer that could make it easier for some buyers.
On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, DDA has announced a 25% discount on selected flats under its latest housing scheme.
Interestingly, a flat originally priced at around ₹1.33 crore can now be available for about ₹1.09 crore after the discount.
The scheme includes flats for both Middle Income Group (MIG) and High Income Group (HIG) buyers in Narela, Delhi.
DDA Launches 1,287 Flats in Narela
Bookings for the new DDA housing scheme started on August 28 at 12 noon.
A total of 1,287 flats have been put up for sale across different sectors and pockets of Narela.
These include flats in Sectors A1 to A4, Pocket 3 and Pocket 4.
The biggest attraction is the 25% discount offered on the listed prices of these flats.
The scheme is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
This means buyers who complete the booking process earlier may have a better chance of getting their preferred flat.
How Much Do These DDA Flats Cost?
DDA has offered flats in different price ranges depending on their category and location.
Here are some of the prices mentioned under the scheme:
HIG flats in Pocket 3: Around ₹1.96 crore after the 25% discount
HIG flats in Pocket 4: Around ₹96.86 lakh after the discount
MIG flats in Pocket 3: Around ₹73.02 lakh
MIG flats in Pocket 2: Around ₹73.71 lakh
The scheme includes 230 HIG flats in Pocket 3, 267 HIG flats in Pocket 4, around 386 MIG flats in Pocket 3, and 404 MIG flats in Pocket 2.
Ready-to-Move Flats with Full Ownership
Another major advantage is that the flats are ready to move in.
Buyers won’t have to wait for construction to finish. Once the property-related formalities are completed, they can move in with their families.
The flats are also freehold properties, which means buyers get full ownership of the property.
DDA is also allowing interested buyers to visit and view sample flats before booking.
This can help buyers get a better idea of the layout, size and overall property before making a decision.
How to Book a DDA Flat Online
The entire booking process has been made available online.
Interested buyers can register and apply through the official DDA websites:
Since the scheme follows a first-come, first-served model, interested buyers should check the eligibility, flat details, payment requirements and other terms carefully before booking.
DDA has also provided a helpline facility for buyers who need help or have questions about the housing scheme.
