State-owned telecom company BSNL has introduced a new broadband plan priced at just ₹259.
The plan is mainly aimed at people living in rural areas and small towns, making high-speed internet more affordable.
With this low-cost plan, BSNL wants to improve internet access outside major cities and help more people get connected.
Free Installation and Modem
BSNL is offering free installation and a free Wi-Fi modem with this broadband plan. This means customers do not have to pay any extra setup charges.
The plan also includes a free subscription to BSNL Waves OTT, giving users access to entertainment content.
Customers can apply for the connection through the BSNL website, mobile app, or customer care.
Internet Speed and Other Benefits
The ₹259 plan offers internet speeds of up to 25 Mbps, which is suitable for online classes, work from home, video calls, OTT streaming, and everyday browsing.
Users get 700GB of high-speed data every month. After the data limit is used, the internet will continue to work, but the speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps.
The plan also includes unlimited voice calling to any network across India.

Reliance Jio’s cheapest broadband plan starts at ₹399. It offers 30 Mbps speed along with 3.3TB monthly data for fiber users and is available across the country.
Airtel’s most affordable broadband plan costs ₹499. It provides up to 40 Mbps internet speed with unlimited data, making it the company’s entry-level broadband plan available nationwide.
