State-run telecom company BSNL has introduced a new prepaid recharge plan that aims to attract heavy data users with a low-cost offering.

The plan provides daily data, unlimited calling, and SMS benefits at a much cheaper price compared to private telecom operators.

The ₹225 plan is available to users across India and is designed for customers who want essential mobile services without spending too much.

What You Get in the ₹225 BSNL Plan

This new BSNL prepaid plan comes with a validity of 30 days.

During this period, users receive:

2.5GB high-speed data per day

Unlimited calling across all networks in India

100 SMS per day

When broken down, the daily cost comes to around ₹7.50, making it one of the most affordable plans in the market for daily high-data usage.

Users can activate this plan through the BSNL website or mobile app.

No Extra OTT or Add-On Services

Unlike many private telecom plans, BSNL has kept this recharge simple and focused.

It does not include any OTT subscriptions or bundled digital services.

This makes it suitable for users who only need basic telecom benefits like internet, calls, and SMS.

However, customers who want OTT platforms will need to subscribe separately.

How It Compares with Jio and Airtel

When compared to private telecom operators, BSNL’s pricing stands out, but the additional benefits differ.

Jio offers a similar 2.5GB daily data plan at around ₹399 with 28 days validity.

Along with basic services, it also includes extra perks like cloud storage and subscriptions to platforms such as JioHotstar and others in some plans.

Airtel’s plan is also priced at ₹399 with the same data and calling benefits.

It additionally offers subscriptions like JioHotstar and Adobe Express Premium.

While Jio and Airtel provide more bundled digital services, BSNL focuses mainly on affordability and core telecom usage.

A Budget Option for Heavy Data Users

BSNL’s ₹225 plan is clearly aimed at users who want maximum data and calling benefits at the lowest possible cost.

With its aggressive pricing, it offers strong competition in the budget segment of the telecom market.

For users who prefer simplicity and low monthly expense over extra digital subscriptions, this plan can be a practical choice.
