TRAI has taken strong action against companies that send spam without permission.
In 2025, around 1.84 lakh telecom connections were disconnected for illegal telemarketing activities.
One important thing to note is that the app blocks only unwanted promotional messages.
You will still receive important alerts like bank OTPs and essential service updates.
