The Shadow app has been created by students of the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences.

There is also a parent-first approval system.
This means if a student wants to leave campus or take special permission, approval from parents is required first.

SOS Alert and Smart Security Features
The app includes an SOS emergency button.
If a student feels unsafe, they can press it to instantly alert both parents and the institution.
This helps in taking quick action during emergencies.
Another important feature is the QR code-based gate pass system, which controls entry and prevents unauthorized access on campus.
