Pension Verification Mandatory in Rajasthan (Check Deadline)

There is important news for elderly people, widows, and specially-abled citizens in Rajasthan.

Under the Social Security Pension Scheme, around 5.95 lakh beneficiaries are receiving financial support.

These include:

Senior citizens

Single women (widows)

Persons with disabilities

The state government continues to provide pension benefits to all eligible groups. However, a key process is now pending for many beneficiaries.

Mandatory Verification Still Pending for Thousands

According to officials from the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, annual physical verification is compulsory under the 2013 rules.

In Jaipur district, a large number of pensioners have not yet completed this process:

Over 72,000 beneficiaries in Jaipur district

Around 64,000 beneficiaries in Jaipur city area

Officials have now instructed that all pending verifications must be completed soon.

A meeting was held by the district administration to speed up the process.

Deadline Set: Complete Verification by March 31

The administration has clearly announced the last date as March 31, 2026.

Pensioners can complete their verification through:

Nearest e-Mitra center

Smartphone (online verification)

Authorized government officers

The process has been made simple so that beneficiaries can complete it easily without much hassle.

Pension May Stop If You Miss This Step

Authorities have issued a strict warning.

If verification is not completed before the deadline, pension payments may be stopped.

In such cases, a proposal to discontinue the pension will be sent to the state government.
