There is good news for millions of customers across the country. Now, if your Speed Post does not reach on time, you can get your money back.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has launched three new services from the India Post to make delivery faster, safer, and more reliable. These services will help important documents and parcels reach people more quickly than before.

New Postal Services Introduced

The Postal Department has launched three new services: 24 Speed Post, 24 Speed Post Parcel, and 48 Speed Post.

24 Speed Post and 24 Speed Post Parcel promise delivery by the next day.

48 Speed Post aims to deliver parcels within two days.

These services are designed to ensure that deliveries happen on time and with better efficiency.

Money-Back Guarantee for Delays

One of the most important features of these services is the money-back guarantee.

If the postal department fails to deliver a parcel or document within the promised time, customers will get their money refunded. This step will improve accountability and increase trust in the postal system.

Better Security and Tracking System

The new services focus strongly on safety and transparency. An OTP-based delivery system has been introduced, which means parcels will only be handed over after the correct OTP is provided.

Customers will also receive SMS updates and online tracking, so they can easily check the status of their parcel at any time.

Delivery Available on Sundays Too

For the first time, Speed Post deliveries will also happen on Sundays and public holidays.

However, the service will not be available on three national holidays: January 26, August 15, and October 2. This will make delivery more convenient for customers throughout the year.

Benefits for Businesses

These new services will also help small businesses and e-commerce companies. Features like free bulk pickup, pay-later options, and centralized billing will make shipping easier and more efficient for businesses.

Strengthening the Logistics Sector

This step by the Postal Department is seen as a major move to strengthen India’s logistics system. It will increase competition in the express delivery market and give customers better and faster service options.
