Travel just got easier for commuters in the National Capital Region.

NCRTC (National Capital Region Transport Corporation) and IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) have launched a joint ticketing system, allowing passengers to book Indian Rail and Namo Bharat train tickets from a single app.

This move means no more downloading multiple apps or entering the same information repeatedly.

How the Integrated Booking Works

Passengers using the Namo Bharat app can now book Indian Rail tickets directly by clicking the IRCTC icon.

Similarly, those booking train tickets via IRCTC can reserve Namo Bharat tickets for their local NCR journeys through the IRCTC Rail Connect app by selecting the NCRTC icon.

The system automatically transfers passenger details, saving time and eliminating repeated data entry.

Benefits for Passengers

This integrated system makes traveling seamless.

For example, someone traveling from Meerut to Delhi on the Namo Bharat train and then planning a long-distance journey from Anand Vihar Station can book Indian Rail tickets for the next leg of the trip right through the Namo Bharat app.

Upon arrival, passengers can directly board their connecting train without waiting in long queues.

This integration also comes after NCRTC partnered with Delhi Metro, allowing passengers to book tickets for both Namo Bharat and Delhi Metro through either app.

This new initiative reduces hassle, saves time, and makes multi-modal travel across NCR smoother than ever.
