Indian Railways now allows passengers to book general (unreserved) train tickets online using their mobile phones. Earlier, passengers had to stand in long queues at railway stations, which wasted time and increased crowding.
To solve this problem, Indian Railways introduced the UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) Mobile App. With this app, passengers can book tickets easily from home or from a short distance away from the station, without waiting in lines.
UTS App Availability and Features
The UTS App is available on both Android and iOS devices. It makes ticket booking faster, safer, and more convenient through digital payment options.
Using this app, passengers can book general tickets, platform tickets, and season tickets. Below is a step-by-step guide explaining how to download the app, register, and book tickets.
