Under the Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package 2025, industrial land is now being offered for only one rupee, along with several major financial benefits.

The new package aims to attract investors by offering a combination of land subsidies and financial support.
Along with one-rupee land, companies can avail:
Interest subsidies
Up to 100% SGST reimbursement
300% Net SGST reimbursement of approved project cost
Up to 30% capital subsidy
The deadline to apply for the scheme is March 31, 2026, making this a limited-period opportunity for entrepreneurs and businesses considering expansion.
How Much Investment Is Needed?
The state has also shared the investment and job-creation requirements for availing the one-rupee land benefit:
10 acres of land for an investment of ₹100 crore with 1,000 jobs
25 acres of land for an investment of ₹1,000 crore
10 acres for Fortune 500 companies investing ₹200 crore
50% discount on BIADA land rates for all others not meeting the above categories
Along with land, investors can get:
Interest subsidy up to ₹40 crore
100% SGST reimbursement, or
300% Net SGST reimbursement for 14 years, or
30% capital subsidy on project cost
These benefits significantly reduce the overall project cost and make setting up industries in Bihar much more attractive.
