Indian Railways has announced a major update for passengers travelling between Gujarat and Odisha.
The Udhna–Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Express will no longer operate only once a week.
It will now run three times a week, making the journey more convenient for thousands of travellers.
This train, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in September 2025, plays an important role in connecting key districts across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Chhattisgarh.
It has especially benefited the large Odia community living and working in Surat.
New Timings for the Tri-Weekly Service
Western Railway has confirmed the updated schedule:
Train No. 19021 (Udhna to Brahmapur)
Runs on: Sunday, Wednesday, Friday
Effective from: 19 November 2025
Train No. 19022 (Brahmapur to Udhna)
Runs on: Monday, Thursday, Saturday
Effective from: 20 November 2025
Bookings for Train No. 19021 opened on 16 November 2025 at PRS counters and on the IRCTC website.
The sleeper class fare remains unchanged at Rs 795.

The train has 22 coaches, including sleeper coaches, general compartments, a pantry car, and luggage vans.
It stops at major stations such as Raipur, Bhusaval, Rayagada, Titlagarh, Nandurbar and Jalgaon—providing essential connectivity across five states.
