Fastag Alert: KYV Verification Required to Avoid Cash Toll Payments

The government has now made KYV (Know Your Vehicle) verification mandatory for all Fastag users. This is in addition to the existing KYC (Know Your Customer) process.

If you don’t complete KYV, your Fastag may be deactivated, and you will have to pay full toll charges in cash at toll plazas.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Upload clear photos of your vehicle from different angles.

One photo must show the Fastag affixed on the windshield.

Upload a scanned copy of your RC.

Submit the information.

The verification usually takes around 7 days, and you will receive status updates via SMS or email. You can also check the status in your Fastag or bank app.
