On the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, Air India Express has started a special ‘Freedom Sale’.
Under this offer, the airline is giving huge discounts on about 50 lakh seats.
Domestic flights start from ₹1,279 and go up to ₹4,279.
International flights start from ₹4,279.
Booking Dates and Travel Period
Booking period: Till August 15, 2025
Travel period: From August 19, 2025 to March 31, 2026
The sale will be available first on August 10 via the official website www.airindiaexpress.com and the airline’s mobile app.
From August 11 to August 15, the offer will also be available on all major travel booking platforms.

Members can get up to 20% discount on services like Gourmaire hot meals, cabin and extra check-in baggage, and Express Ahead.
Important Things to Know Before Booking
The discounted fare covers only the seat price; base fare, taxes, and airport charges are extra.
Tickets can be booked online through the website or mobile app. On Express Lite fares, zero payment charges apply if using net banking.
No refund will be given on the discounted portion of the ticket if cancelled.
Seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once sold out, normal fares apply.
Standard cancellation charges, as mentioned on the airline’s website, will apply.
Air India Express reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend the offer without notice, and passengers cannot claim compensation for such cancellations.
