Infosys Plans to Hire 20,000 Fresh Graduates in 2025

These days, news about job cuts is common in private companies around the world. Recently, Microsoft announced layoffs, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said it would remove over 12,000 employees.

But during this tough time, Infosys has shared some good news. The company plans to hire around 20,000 fresh college graduates in 2025, focusing on growth in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

According to The Times of India, Infosys CEO Salil Parekh confirmed this hiring plan. He said, “We hired more than 17,000 people in the first quarter and aim to bring in about 20,000 college graduates this year.”

Focus on AI and Employee Training

Parekh highlighted that Infosys is focusing strongly on AI and building its workforce skills.

The company has kept its lead by investing heavily in these areas. So far, Infosys has trained about 275,000 employees at different levels in AI and digital skills.

Talking about AI’s role in business, Parekh explained, “AI enables deep automation and insights but needs higher-level skills.” Infosys is continuing to grow its workforce, showing its commitment to both talent and technology.

On automation, Parekh noted that AI has increased software development and productivity by 5% to 15%.
