Check How Many SIM Cards Are Registered in Your Name from Home

In today’s digital age, online scams and SIM card fraud have become very common. Scammers can misuse SIM cards registered in your name to steal your personal information or even commit crimes.

You might not even know that someone is using a SIM card linked to your identity.

To help with this, the Telecom Department offers a tool on the Sanchar Saathi portal that lets users check how many SIM cards are registered in their name. Here’s how you can do it from the comfort of your home.

How to Check SIM Cards Linked to Your Aadhaar Card:

  1. First, visit the Sanchar Saathi portal at sancharsaathi.gov.in.

  2. Enter your 10-digit mobile number and fill in the captcha code shown on the screen.

  3. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and continue.

  4. After this, you will see a list of all mobile numbers linked to your Aadhaar.

What to Do If You Find an Unknown SIM Number:

If you see any number that you don’t recognize, don’t worry. Just follow these steps:

    1. Select the suspicious number from the list.

    2. Click on the option ‘Note My Number’.

    3. Confirm your selection and submit it.

    4. A request ID will be generated. Save it so you can track the status later.

    5. The telecom company will re-verify the number. If the number is not correctly linked, the connection will be disconnected.
