PM Kisan’s 20th Installment to Be Released Today (Check Your Name in the List)

About 9.8 crore farmers across India await the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana. Reports say that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may release the installment during a public event in Motihari, Bihar on July 18, though this has not yet been officially confirmed.

Under PM Kisan, farmers receive ₹2,000 every four months. So far, 19 installments have been released, with the 19th installment disbursed in February 2025. Normally, the 20th installment is paid in June, but it’s delayed this time.

Will the 20th Installment Be Released on July 18?

If the reports are true, PM Modi could directly transfer ₹2,000 to farmers’ bank accounts on July 18 with the click of a button.

However, no official announcement has been made yet on the government or PM Kisan website.

Important: eKYC is Mandatory to Receive the Installment

Farmers must complete their eKYC, link their Aadhaar with their bank account, and have land documents updated to avail of the scheme.

The total financial assistance is ₹6,000 per year, paid in three installments of ₹2,000 each via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

How to Update Your Land Information?

  1. Visit the PM Kisan website: https://pmkisan.gov.in

  2. Click on State Transfer Request on the homepage.

  3. Enter your Registration Number or Aadhaar Number.

  4. Enter the Captcha code and click Get OTP.

  5. Enter the received OTP.

  6. Upload your land documents (e.g., Khasra, Khatauni).

  7. Verify the details and submit.

Important Requirements to Avail the Scheme

  • Bank account must be linked with Aadhaar.

  • DBT facility must be active.

  • eKYC should be completed.

  • Check Aadhaar linking status on the PM Kisan portal by clicking Know Your Status.

How to Check if Your Name Is in the Beneficiary List?

  1. Go to https://pmkisan.gov.in.

  2. On the homepage, click the Dashboard tab (yellow).

  3. Fill in details in the Village Dashboard section: Select your State, District, Block, and Panchayat.

  4. Click Get Report.

  5. Look for your name in the list.

Make sure all your details and documents are updated in time to receive the installment. Only farmers with complete and correct information will get the payment.
