State-run telecom company BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has announced a flash sale with a massive discount on high-speed 4G data. In this limited-time offer, users can get 400 GB of data for just ₹400, which comes to ₹1 per GB.
The offer comes soon after the company successfully installed 90,000 new 4G towers, improving its network strength nationwide.

Focus on Expanding 4G Services
BSNL is now planning to add 1 lakh more towers to further boost its 4G services. Recently, Minister of State for Communications Chandrasekhar Pemmasani said that the Department of Telecom (DoT) will soon approach the Union Cabinet for approval to expand BSNL’s 4G coverage.
The DoT has also asked state governments to use BSNL for their data security needs, as public-sector telecom firms get a major chunk of their revenue from government contracts.
BSNL’s Entry into 5G Broadband
Last week, BSNL launched its 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) broadband service in Hyderabad, Telangana. The introductory plans are:
₹999 for 100 Mbps
₹1,499 for 300 Mbps
The new 5G service is branded as Quantum 5G. This puts BSNL in direct competition with Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, both of whom already offer 5G broadband via FWA.
Doorstep SIM Delivery Now Available
To attract more users, BSNL has also launched a doorstep SIM card delivery service. An online portal has been introduced for users to order SIMs directly to their homes.
