Difference Between Narrowbody and Widebody Aircraft
Narrowbody aircraft are used for short to medium-distance travel. These planes have a single aisle and can carry between 100 to 240 passengers.
They are mainly used for domestic and short international routes. Examples include Airbus A320 and Boeing 737. These aircraft are fuel-efficient and cost-effective.
In contrast, widebody aircraft are larger, with two or three aisles, and can carry 250 to 850 passengers.
These are mainly used for long-distance international flights. Examples include Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A330.
