Ola launches it’s First Electric Bike ‘Roadster X’ with 501km Range

Ola Electric has launched its first electric motorcycle, the Roadster X, with a starting price of Rs 74,999 (ex-showroom).

This makes it the company’s most affordable electric motorcycle. The Roadster X comes in three variants with different battery pack options, offering a range of up to 200 km on a single charge.

The base model, priced at Rs 74,999, features a 2.5 kWh battery and provides a range of up to 140 km.

The mid-spec variant, priced at Rs 84,999, includes a 3.5 kWh battery and offers a range of up to 196 km.

The top-spec model, priced at Rs 95,999, has a 4.5 kWh battery, giving a range of 252 km.

Additionally, the Roadster X+ comes in two variants, one with a 4.5 kWh battery priced at Rs 1.05 lakh and the other with a 9.1 kWh battery priced at Rs 1.55 lakh. These variants offer ranges of 252 km and 501 km, respectively.

Features of Ola Roadster X 

The Ola Roadster X electric motorcycle features a 4.3-inch LCD screen powered by Ola MoveOS 5.

It comes with several features, including turn-by-turn navigation, advanced region, cruise control, TPMS, and OTA updates.

The bike has three riding modes: Sports, Normal, and Eco. The Roadster X+ variant also includes Energy Insights, Advanced Region, Cruise Control, and Reverse Mode.

The Roadster X is powered by a single electric motor that generates a peak power of 9.38 bhp across all variants.

It offers different top speeds depending on the battery pack. The 2.5 kWh variant has a top speed of 105 km/h, the 3.5 kWh variant can reach 118 km/h, and the 4.5 kWh and 9.1 kWh variants can achieve a top speed of 125 km/h.

The motorcycle is equipped with alloy wheels, a front disc brake, rear drum brakes, and a Combi Braking System (CBS) with brake-by-wire technology.

For suspension, it uses telescopic forks in the front and dual shocks at the rear.

The Ola Roadster X features a futuristic design similar to the Ola electric scooter, with a minimalist look and sharp-edged body panels.

The battery pack is located under the faux fuel tank, which includes a small storage compartment for essentials.

It also comes with a rectangular LED headlamp cluster with DRLs, a flat single-piece seat, and a single-piece pillion grab rail.
