BSNL launches Integrated Free TV (IFTV) Service Nationwide: How to use it?

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the only government telecom company in India, has introduced a new service for its users.

The Integrated Free TV (IFTV) service is now available nationwide, offering 550 live SD and HD channels, along with over 18 premium OTT apps on a single platform.

Initially, BSNL is providing this service free of charge to its customers. Let’s explore what this service is and who can avail it.

Users can access the service at no cost

BSNL has launched this service in partnership with technology provider SkyPro and OTT provider PlayboxTV.

The company stated that the platform offers a seamless entertainment experience with a single subscription, combining live TV and on-demand OTT content.

It will be available for free to users nationwide. BSNL mentioned that over 40 lakh FTTH users across the country will be able to enjoy premium TV and OTT apps at no cost.

There’s no need for separate apps anymore

SkyPro will offer technical support for this service, while PlayboxTV will curate premium content.

Users will no longer need separate apps for live TV and OTT content. They can enjoy both TV and OTT in a single app on their mobile or TV.

BSNL is introducing appealing plans to keep its customers

BSNL, the government telecom company, has seen a decline in its customer base after a brief increase.

Now, the company faces the challenge of retaining its customers. To address this, BSNL is continually introducing new services and attractive plans.

The company plans to launch 4G connectivity nationwide this year and is also rolling out several appealing plans for mobile and broadband users, offering great benefits at affordable prices.
