Leaked Pricing and Features of Google’s upcoming Pixel 9a

Google is gearing up to launch its new Pixel phone soon, reportedly named the Pixel 9a. This will be the most budget-friendly option in the Pixel 9 series.

While Google hasn’t officially announced the Pixel 9a, leaks and rumors strongly suggest that its release is just around the corner.

Leaked Pricing Details

According to reports from Android Headlines, the Pixel 9a will likely cost $499 (roughly ₹43,181) for the 128GB model

and $599 (roughly ₹51,834) for the 256GB model, keeping it in the same price range as the Pixel 8a.

However, the 256GB version might be $40 (roughly ₹3,461) more expensive than its predecessor.

In Canada, the leaked prices are CAD 679 for the 128GB model and CAD 809 for the 256GB model.

The Pixel 9a is expected to launch in mid-March 2025, slightly earlier than the Pixel 8a, which debuted in May 2024.

Expected Features

The Pixel 9a is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch Actua display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals.

It could be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chip, the same processor used in other Pixel 9 models. The phone is expected to come with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

For photography, the Pixel 9a is likely to include a 48MP quad dual-pixel primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13MP selfie camera.

The device is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 18W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging.
