Telecom companies have recently revised their prepaid plans for voice and SMS services. Airtel, Jio, and Vodafone-Idea (Vi) have launched new plans with reduced prices.
These changes come after instructions from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

Jio’s Voice and SMS Plans
Rs 1748 Plan
Jio has reduced the price of its Rs 1958 plan to Rs 1748. This plan now offers a validity of 336 days and includes unlimited voice calls and 3600 free SMS.
Additionally, users will get free access to Jio TV and Jio Cinema (non-premium). The daily cost of this plan is approximately Rs 5.20.
Rs 448 Plan
Initially priced at Rs 458, this plan has now been revised to Rs 448. With a validity of 84 days, it offers unlimited calling for all networks and 1000 free SMS.
Free access to Jio TV and Jio Cinema (non-premium) is also included. The daily cost for this plan is around Rs 5.33.
Airtel’s Voice and SMS Plans
Rs 1849 Plan
Airtel has reduced the price of its Rs 1959 plan to Rs 1849. This plan comes with a validity of 365 days and offers unlimited voice calls and 3600 free SMS.
It also includes Apollo 24/7 Circle membership and free HelloTunes. The daily cost for this plan is Rs 5.06.
Rs 469 Plan
Airtel’s Rs 469 plan, previously priced at Rs 499, provides 84 days of validity.
It offers unlimited voice calling and 900 free SMS, along with a free HelloTune benefit. The effective daily cost is Rs 5.58.
Vi’s Voice and SMS Plans
Rs 1849 Plan
Vi’s Rs 1849 plan offers 365 days of validity. It includes unlimited voice calls and 3600 free SMS, with a daily cost of about Rs 5.
Rs 470 Plan
Vi’s Rs 470 plan is an entry-level option with a validity of 84 days. It offers unlimited voice calling and 900 free SMS, with a daily cost of approximately Rs 5.60.
These revised plans from Jio, Airtel, and Vi provide more affordable options for users with different needs, offering both long-term and short-term validity at reasonable prices.
