Hero Motocorp introduced two exciting new scooters, the Xoom 160 and Xoom 125, at the India Mobility Expo 2025.

The Xoom 125 is priced at Rs 86,900 (ex-showroom), while the Xoom 160 is priced at Rs 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom). These new models are set to enhance Hero’s existing portfolio.

The Hero Xoom 125 stands out with its unique design, featuring a sharp front apron with integrated LED lights, sleek sides, and a sporty tail section.
Engine and Performance
Powered by a 125cc engine, the Xoom 125 promises a smooth, fuel-efficient ride. It is equipped with 14-inch wheels, which are the first of their kind in this segment.
Other key features include an external fuel filler cap, all-LED lights, scroll-style turn indicators,
and a digital instrument cluster with useful information like average fuel consumption and distance-to-empty. For braking, it uses front disc and rear drum brakes.
Competition
In the Indian market, the Xoom 125 will compete with scooters like the TVS NTorq 125 and Suzuki Avenis.
Hero Xoom 160: A Bold, Adventure-Inspired Scooter
Design and Features
The Xoom 160 features a striking adventure-inspired design, with sharp split LED headlights, a transparent visor, and a muscular body.
These features give the scooter a bold and high stance, making it look like an adventure scooter.
Engine and Performance
Powered by a 156cc single-cylinder engine, the Xoom 160 delivers 14bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 13.7Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. It uses a CVT gearbox for smooth and efficient performance.
The scooter also comes with a front telescopic fork and rear dual spring suspension, along with 14-inch wheels and strong front disc and rear drum brakes.

The Xoom 160 offers advanced features like LED lighting, keyless operation, a digital LCD display, and dial-style ignition.

The Xoom 160 will compete with the Yamaha Aerox 155 in the market.
