Flight services from Hindon Airport Civil Terminal to Mumbai officially started on Monday.
The first Air India Express flight took off from Ghaziabad to Mumbai, while another flight was launched from Hindon to Bengaluru due to high passenger demand.
First Flight to Mumbai
The inaugural flight from Hindon to Mumbai departed at 1 PM, after the incoming flight from Mumbai landed at 12 noon.
Officials reported that 90% of the seats were occupied on the first day, indicating strong interest from travelers.
Increasing Passenger Demand
Due to the high number of passengers, a second flight service to Bengaluru was initiated.
Hindon Airport Director, Umesh Yadav, stated that after establishing services to Goa, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, Air India is now expanding its service to Mumbai starting Monday. Another additional service to Bengaluru is also planned.
The number of travelers at Hindon Airport is steadily increasing. Many people from various districts of NCR and western Uttar Pradesh are utilizing the airport for their travel needs.
Addressing Growing Passenger Demand
In response to increasing passenger numbers, a second flight service to Bengaluru was launched.
Hindon Airport Director, Umesh Yadav, mentioned that after establishing services to Goa, Kolkata,
and Bengaluru, Air India is now expanding its service to Mumbai. An additional service to Bengaluru is also in the pipeline.
Passenger traffic at Hindon Airport is steadily rising, with many travelers from various districts of NCR and western Uttar Pradesh using the airport for their journeys.
