Tata Group’s airline, Air India Express, is working to connect emerging cities with international destinations.
Recently, the airline started services from Patna, launching three new routes in a single day.
These flights will connect Patna to Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, and Hyderabad. This move will offer the people of Bihar more opportunities for business and travel.
Flight Schedule from Patna
Air India Express operates 21 weekly flights from Patna, connecting the city directly to three domestic destinations: Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, and Hyderabad.
Additionally, passengers can reach other cities like Kozhikode, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mangalore, Pune, Surat, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada,
and Visakhapatnam, along with two international destinations—Abu Dhabi and Dammam—through one-stop flights.
Growing Fleet and Expanding Network
Air India Express is rapidly growing, with its fleet reaching 100 aircraft.
The airline recently added several destinations to its network, including Dimapur, Dibrugarh, Port Blair, Jammu, and Patna in the domestic sector,
and Bangkok and Phuket internationally. As a result, the airline’s winter schedule has increased by 30% compared to last year, with over 400 daily flights now operating.
Flight Schedules from Other Cities
Bengaluru: Air India Express operates 419 weekly flights, connecting 28 domestic destinations and two international destinations (Abu Dhabi and Dammam).
Bhubaneswar: The airline runs 104 weekly flights, linking 11 domestic and 10 international destinations.
Hyderabad: With 208 weekly flights, Air India Express provides connectivity to 20 domestic and 10 international destinations.
Rapid Network Expansion
With a growing fleet of 100 aircraft, Air India Express has made significant strides in expanding its network.
The airline has added more than 50 destinations, including Dimapur, Dibrugarh, Port Blair, Jammu, and Patna within India. Internationally, Bangkok and Phuket have been added to its routes.
This expansion has resulted in a 30% increase in its winter schedule compared to last year, with the airline now operating over 400 daily flights.
