Protecting the Community, Especially Young Viewers

YouTube stated that this decision will mainly impact creators making content related to gambling, including casino games and gambling apps.

However, the company believes it is necessary to safeguard the community, particularly young audiences.

Previously, directing viewers to gambling sites and apps was already a violation of YouTube’s policies.
