Moto G05: Price in India

The Moto G05 has been launched in India at an affordable price of ₹6,999. It comes in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Sales begin on January 13, 2025, at 12 noon. The phone will be available on Flipkart, Motorola.in, and major retail stores.

Offered in two colors, Forest Green and Plum Red, the Moto G05 features a stylish vegan leather design.

Moto G05: Specifications

The Moto G05 features a large 6.67-inch display with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits and a 90Hz refresh rate.

It is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and comes without a notch. According to Motorola, this screen offers the highest brightness in its segment, ensuring clear visibility even in bright sunlight.

The phone includes an Adaptive Auto mode that adjusts the refresh rate from 90Hz to 60Hz based on the content, helping to conserve battery life.

For sound, it is equipped with dual stereo speakers and 7x bass boost with Dolby Atmos, delivering enhanced audio quality.

The Moto G05 screen features water touch technology, allowing it to respond easily to wet or sweaty hands.

It comes in two color options: Forest Green and Plum Red. Built to be durable, the phone has an IP52 rating, providing protection against water and dust.

According to the company, the Moto G05 is the only smartphone in its segment to come pre-installed with the Android 15 operating system.

Android 15 offers improved privacy controls, advanced security features, and enhanced customization options compared to previous versions.

Moto G05: Camera

The Moto G05 features a 50-megapixel camera system with quad pixel technology and a night vision mode for enhanced low-light photography.

For selfies, it has an 8-megapixel front camera with a face retouch feature to improve photo quality.

The phone offers various camera modes, including portrait photography, time-lapse, live filters, panorama, and leveler.

Additionally, it includes tools like Google Photo Editor, Magic Unblur, Magic Eraser, and Magic Editor, making it stand out in its segment.

Moto G05: Battery

The Moto G05 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme processor. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of UFS2.2 storage.

Thanks to the RAM Boost feature, the RAM can be expanded up to 12GB, allowing for smooth multitasking.

The storage is also expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. Additionally, the phone supports three SIM cards.

With a large 5200mAh battery, the Moto G05 can last up to two days on a single charge, according to the company. It also supports 18W fast charging for quick power-ups.
