TVS Motor Company has introduced an updated version of the Jupiter 110 in India. The scooter now complies with the OBD-2B standard.
The company has announced plans to upgrade its entire lineup to this standard by March 2025.
Along with this update, the price of the Jupiter 110 has also increased. Notably, Honda had also increased the price of its Activa in December 2024.
New Features in TVS Jupiter 110
With the OBD-2B update, the Jupiter 110 now comes equipped with advanced sensor technology.
These sensors provide real-time data on throttle response, air-fuel mixture, engine temperature, fuel volume, and engine speed.
The onboard engine control unit (ECU) continuously monitors this data, allowing the scooter to adjust to environmental conditions. This helps in reducing pollution and improving overall performance.
Engine and Performance
The TVS Jupiter 110 features a 113.3 cc, air-cooled engine with fuel injection technology. This engine produces 7.91 bhp of power and 9.2 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm.
When combined with the CVT automatic transmission and electric assist, the torque increases to 9.8 Nm. The scooter can reach a top speed of 82 kmph.
Price Increase and Color Options
Previously, the ex-showroom price of the TVS Jupiter 110 started at Rs 74,691. After the update, the price has increased to Rs 76,691. The scooter is available in multiple colors, including:
Dawn Matte Blue
Galactic Copper Matte
Titanium Grey Matte
Starlight Blue Gloss
Lunar White Gloss
Meteor Red Gloss
Additionally, the Jupiter 110 features a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity for added convenience.
