PNB Customers must complete THIS Task by March 26 to avoid Account Closure

There is important news for millions of Punjab National Bank customers. PNB account holders need to complete this task by March 26, 2025.

Otherwise, their account may be closed. As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has instructed its customers to update their ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) details by March 26, 2025.

These rules apply to customers who did not update their KYC by March 31, 2024.

Offline and Online KYC Process

Customers can provide documents such as their identity card, address proof, recent photograph, PAN or Form 60, income proof, and mobile number at the nearest branch.

Additionally, they can complete the KYC process using PNB ONE, Internet banking services, registered email, or by sending the documents via post.

Complete KYC to Keep Your PNB Account Active

PNB has clearly stated that if KYC is not updated within the given deadline, the account will be deactivated and cannot be used.

The account will be marked as dormant. Customers are advised to visit the nearest PNB branch or check the bank’s official website for any assistance.

This will allow customers to visit and complete their KYC process. It is important to update KYC on time to avoid any issues with banking transactions.

Customers should get KYC done soon

Punjab National Bank customers have 26 days to update their KYC.

If the KYC process is not completed for a savings account, the account will become dormant, and no transactions will be possible.

To reactivate the account, account holders must submit the required documents. Until then, the PNB account will remain inactive.
