India is making progress every day, especially in the area of digital payments.

After achieving new milestones, the State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a special card inspired by Singapore.

This card, called Flash Pay, allows users to make payments without needing to link it to a bank account.

Similar cards, known as National Common Mobility Cards (NCMC), are now being offered in India.

SBI and Save Solutions are working together to distribute these cards at Delhi Metro stations, aiming to provide easy and secure payment options for metro passengers.

How to Use the NCMC Card

The NCMC card is versatile and can be used for various services, including metro rides, buses, tolls, shopping, and ATM cash withdrawals.

This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “one nation, one card.”

Save Solutions is in charge of selling NCMC cards at metro stations and helping users activate them.

Employees from Save Solutions will be available at the stations to assist passengers in purchasing and activating their cards.

This will help reduce the hassle of carrying multiple cards or using different payment methods.

Key Features of the NCMC Card

One of the main benefits of the NCMC card is its interoperability, meaning it can be used across different cities and transportation systems.

The card supports contactless payments, allowing users to pay at metro stations and other terminals with a simple “tap-and-go” method.

Additionally, it has an offline wallet feature, enabling transactions even without an internet connection, up to a certain limit.

NCMC cards can also be used for purchases at point-of-sale (POS) terminals and for cash withdrawals at ATMs.

Some versions of the card have daily limits for withdrawals and purchases, allowing them to function like a debit card.
