Upcoming IPOs: 9 New Issues and 3 Listings Next Week

The Indian equity market has experienced a significant drop in recent weeks.

However, the Initial Public Offering (IPO) market is buzzing with activity due to new listings and public issues.

Upcoming IPOs and Listings

Next week, from October 21 to 25, nine IPOs worth ₹10,985 crore will open for retail investors. This period will also see the listing of three public issues, including Hyundai Motor.

Waaree Energies IPO

The Waaree Energies IPO will be the first to open for subscription on October 21. It has a price band of ₹1,427 to ₹1,503 per share.

This ₹4,321 crore public issue includes a fresh issue of ₹3,600 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 48 lakh shares valued at ₹721.44 crore.

The IPO will close on October 23. Promoters Waaree Sustainable Finance and Chandurkar Investment will participate in the OFS.

Before the IPO, the company raised ₹1,277 crore from anchor investors on October 18.

Waaree Energies is a manufacturer of solar photovoltaic modules and competes with companies like Premier Energies and Websol Energy.

Deepak Builders and Engineers India IPO

The IPO for Deepak Builders and Engineers India will open for retail investors between October 21 and 23.

This IPO is sized at ₹260 crore, consisting of a fresh issue of ₹217 crore and an OFS of ₹42.83 crore. The company raised ₹78 crore from five anchor investors before the IPO.

Godavari Biorefineries IPO

The Godavari Biorefineries IPO will open from October 23 to 25. The company aims to raise ₹555 crore, with a fresh issue of ₹325 crore

and an OFS of 65.26 lakh shares worth ₹229.75 crore by promoters and investor Mandala Capital AG. The price band for this IPO is set between ₹334 and ₹352 per share.

Afcons Infrastructure IPO

Afcons Infrastructure, owned by the Shapoorji Pallonji Group, will open for subscription on October 25. The price band for this ₹5,430 crore IPO will be announced on October 21.

The company plans to raise ₹1,250 crore through a fresh issue and ₹4,180 crore through an OFS.

SME Segment and Major Listings

In addition to the main IPOs, several companies in the SME segment will open for subscription next week, including Premium Plast, Danish Power, United Heat Transfer, OBSC Perfection, and Usha Financial Services.

The listing of Hyundai Motor India, which is the country’s largest-ever IPO at ₹27,870 crore, is scheduled for October 22.

Shares of Lakshya Powertech and Freshra Agro Exports will begin trading on October 23 and 24, respectively.
