Air India, owned by Tata Group, has launched a new method for travelers to book airline tickets.
The airline has introduced gift cards that allow air travelers to book their preferred seats.
Cards with value up to Rs 2 lakh
The company introduced Air India gift cards on Tuesday.
These cards are available in four themes: travel, wedding anniversary, birthday, and special moment.
These can be purchased online on Air India’s website and used by passengers for various occasions.
The e-cards are available in denominations ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2 lakh.
You can do this work with gift card
The company states that passengers can use these cards for both domestic and international flights.
In addition to booking tickets, they can also be used for purchasing extra baggage and selecting seats.
Customers can use the gift card on Air India’s website or app to select their preferred travel destination, date, and cabin class.
3 gift cards can be used simultaneously
Air India states that these gift cards are transferable, allowing you to purchase them and gift them to others for use.
Anyone with the card details can use them to book tickets on Air India flights and purchase additional services.
Customers can use up to three cards simultaneously in a single transaction.
Can also be used with credit card
These gift cards offer flexibility as they can be used in combination with credit cards.
For example, if your total bill is Rs 1.15 lakh and you have a gift card worth Rs 1 lakh, you can pay Rs 1 lakh with the gift card and the remaining Rs 15,000 with a credit card.
This feature allows customers to manage their payments conveniently.
